The Wyoming Agricultural Weather Network (WAWN) is an initiative of the Department of Plant Sciences of the University of Wyoming (UW) Research & Extension Center located in Powell (PREC), WY. The objective of the WAWN is to monitor the weather conditions for agricultural and environmental applications. Our stations monitor air temperature, relative humidity, rainfall, solar radiation, wind speed, wind direction, soil temperature and soil moisture at 2, 4, 8, and 20 inch depths, among other variables. The University of Wyoming takes no responsibility for the content of this website. We will do our best to keep this system running free of problems to the best of our priorities and funding.
